Inspiring Youth Leadership Summit

The Inspiring the Leader in Youth Summit is an annual event for high school students.  The purpose of this event is to:

• Expose students to Polk County and its opportunities
• Get them engaged with businesses
• Keep them in Polk County or make sure they return after college
• Get them to understand that leadership includes being engaged in the community.
• Have students thinking about creating their path to success by learning the difference between active participants vs. Passive participants.

Alumni from all leadership classes are invited to participate in this annual event which occurs in February based upon the Polk County School’s early release day.
