The Worthy Outreach Work “WOW” Program began in 2014 as an outreach opportunity for LLAA. Each year the past presidents of LLAA review all nominations and select a different organization and its specified need and outreach opportunity in which to provide support through requests for or assistance with manpower and possible funding (not to exceed $1000).

Any LLAA alumnus in good standing may recommend a worthy non-profit organization by completing a Worthy Outreach Work (WOW) form by March 31st of each year.  The project / organization must have a direct impact within our community. The Past Presidents advisory board meets in April to select the recipient of the WOW Project. The winner(s) are announced in May with funding and manpower provided over the summer months.
