Class 27 has stayed bonded and connected since graduation; they continue to commit to a class project each year for the community.

It all began with Relay for Life when many of their class members stayed up all night walking the track at Lakeland High School for the American Cancer Society.

Since graduation, they have delivered several carloads of items to the Sunrise Community, purchased and collated hygiene bags for HEARTH, supported PACE center for girls, purchased a brick through Rotary’s project at Hernando’s Landing .

In 2016, their most recent project was through LLAA when they purchased 119 jackets for homeless students and became the year’s BCE (Backpack Class Extraordinaire).

On their graduation night, this class gave a $1500 check to the Leadership Lakeland Alumni Association for their 100% membership into this organization and they continue to stay involved in LLAA.
